Sunday Departures began during a time when life unexpectedly pressed pause.

After being made redundant from my corporate job, I found myself reflecting on what I wanted the next chapter to look like. While exploring new career opportunities, I kept coming back to the idea of creating something of my own. It was something I'd always wanted to do, but for one reason or another, I'd always talked myself out of it.

I then spent weeks bouncing between different ideas, until I asked myself a simple question: what do I genuinely love doing?​

I've always loved creating itineraries for my own holidays and seeing it come to life, which made me realise how amazing it would be to help other people create unforgettable experiences too.

That's when Sunday Departures was born.
